Proccess: Three-Stage Closed-Circuit Crushing – Two-Stage Closed-Circuit Grinding – Gravity Separation – Cyanidation Leaching and Adsorption (CIL) – Desorption-Electrolysis – Tailings Dewatering
Project Overview
This project is a 1000t/d gold processing plant located in Mongolia. Xinhai Mining provided EPCM+O services, covering engineering design, equipment supply, and operational support.
The ore contains both recoverable coarse gold and fine gold fractions. Based on these characteristics, a combined process of gravity separation and cyanidation leaching was adopted to maximize recovery while ensuring stable plant operation.
Xinhai Solution
- Three-Stage Closed-Circuit Crushing: A three-stage crushing circuit with closed-circuit screening was applied to reduce the run-of-mine ore to -8 mm, providing suitable feed for downstream grinding.
- Two-Stage Grinding and Gravity Separation: A two-stage grinding system with hydrocyclone classification was adopted. Gravity separation using centrifugal concentrators and shaking tables was introduced after the first grinding stage to recover coarse gold, while the remaining material proceeds to further grinding.
- Cyanidation Leaching and Adsorption (CIL): The classified slurry is thickened and treated in a multi-stage leaching and adsorption system, enabling efficient recovery of dissolved gold through activated carbon.
- Desorption, Smelting, and Tailings Treatment: Gold-loaded carbon is processed through desorption-electrolysis and smelting to produce doré. Tailings are dewatered by filtration, with filtrate treated and recycled within the system.
