Tanzania 150t/d Gold Mineral Processing Plant

Project Overview

This project is a 150t/d gold processing plant located in Tanzania. The plant was designed based on metallurgical test results and reference to similar CIP/CIL operations.

The ore is characterized by the presence of recoverable coarse gold alongside fine gold fractions. Based on these characteristics, a combined process of gravity separation and cyanidation leaching was adopted to improve overall recovery while maintaining a stable and efficient processing system.

Xinhai Solution

• Two-Stage Closed-Circuit Crushing: A two-stage crushing circuit was applied to reduce run-of-mine ore and provide a consistent feed for grinding.
• Two-Stage Grinding with Gravity Separation: A two-stage grinding system with hydrocyclone classification was adopted. A jigging and shaking table circuit was introduced after the first grinding stage to recover coarse gold, while the remaining slurry proceeds to further grinding and classification.
• Cyanidation Leaching and Adsorption (CIL): The classified slurry is thickened and treated in an eight-stage leaching and adsorption system, enabling effective recovery of dissolved gold through activated carbon.
• Desorption, Smelting, and Tailings Treatment: Gold-loaded carbon is processed through desorption-electrolysis and smelting to produce doré. Tailings are dewatered by filtration for dry stacking, with process water recycled within the plant.
