Project Overview
This project is a 300t/d gold processing plant located in Chongli District, Zhangjiakou, China. Xinhai Mining was responsible for the engineering design, equipment supply, installation, and commissioning of the entire plant.
The ore is characterized by relatively fine gold dissemination, requiring adequate grinding and efficient separation to achieve optimal recovery. Based on ore properties and project requirements, a combined process of gravity separation and flotation was adopted to maximize gold recovery while ensuring stable plant operation and cost-effective performance.

- Two-Stage Closed-Circuit Crushing and Screening: A two-stage closed-circuit crushing system was designed to reduce the run-of-mine ore to a final particle size of -20 mm, suitable for downstream grinding.The crushing circuit consists of a jaw crusher for primary crushing and a cone crusher for secondary crushing, operating in closed circuit with a vibrating screen. Oversized materials are returned for re-crushing, ensuring consistent particle size and improved grinding efficiency.
- One-Stage Closed-Circuit Grinding and Classification: The grinding circuit adopts a wet grid-type ball mill in closed circuit with hydrocyclone classification.The mill discharge is screened to remove coarse particles (>4 mm), followed by cyclone classification. The cyclone underflow returns to the mill for regrinding, while the overflow proceeds to the beneficiation stage, ensuring sufficient mineral liberation for subsequent separation processes.
- Gravity Separation and Flotation Process: A combined gravity separation + flotation process was adopted to improve gold recovery.The cyclone overflow slurry is initially treated in a high-efficiency agitation tank with reagents before being processed in a flotation system designed to enhance recovery efficiency while preserving concentrate quality. Tailings are then directed to the tailings storage facility.
- Efficient Concentrate Dewatering: The gold concentrate is dewatered using a combination of a high-efficiency thickener + filter press.

Project Achievements
