Australia Xinhai Mining Services Pty Ltd
Australia Xinhai Mining Services recently sponsored and participated in the Perth Exploration & Mining Sundowner hosted by Africa Australia Minerals & Energy Group (AAMEG). As AAMEG’s first Sundowner event of the year, the gathering brought together professionals from across the exploration and mining sectors, providing a relaxed setting for industry dialogue, networking, and collaboration.
Xinhai extends its sincere appreciation to AAMEG and its leadership team, including Sarah and Doug, for the opportunity to support the event and engage with industry peers. The evening created a welcoming atmosphere that encouraged meaningful conversations and new connections within the mining community.

During the event, Victor Yang, Head of Xinhai Australia, shared perspectives on the company’s entry into the Australian mining sector and its approach to building long-term partnerships.
“As Xinhai is new to Australia, let me be open,” Yang said. “We do not yet have extensive local project references. We arrived with capability — but not yet with Australian stories.”
He noted that in a mature mining market like Australia, collaboration plays a vital role in accelerating growth and establishing sustainable partnerships.
“In a mature market like Australia, going alone would be slow. For us, collaboration is not optional — it is essential.”
Xinhai has already begun developing relationships with several respected industry partners, including SSH Group in contract mining services, as well as ENC Group and Delonix in EPC project delivery. By combining local execution expertise with Xinhai’s integrated engineering and system delivery strengths, the company aims to build long-term partnerships supporting global mining project development.

Yang also highlighted the value of informal industry events such as the AAMEG Sundowner. While conferences often provide a platform for presenting technical ideas and strategies, smaller gatherings can play an equally important role in building trust and strengthening professional relationships.
“Conferences are good for presenting logic,” Yang noted. “Sundowners are better for building trust. In a relaxed environment, we see more than company logos — we see judgment, responsibility, and character. These qualities often determine the success of mining projects as much as technical specifications.”

Looking ahead, Xinhai Australia aims to deepen collaboration with industry partners while continuing to support mining project development in emerging regions such as Africa, where integrated capabilities across engineering, infrastructure, and project execution are often essential.
Quoting remarks shared during the event, Yang also referenced the broader impact of industry cooperation. As AAMEG leadership has noted, when companies contribute their expertise and support collectively, the result can be positive outcomes not only for project development but also for local communities.
“For us, meaningful collaboration is not only about business opportunities,” Yang said. “It is also about creating long-term value and building a shared legacy in the global mining industry.”
“If tonight we begin with trust over a drink,” he concluded, “perhaps tomorrow we begin with a project.”
